Should you reschedule your photos if it’s raining?

Should you reschedule your family session if it’s raining?! Well, you can. Of course you can! And if you are wanting that option, then it’s totally fine by me. I will send over some back up days if you’d rather not have a session in the rain.

But. If you want to embrace the rain and go ahead and shoot, then heck yes! Let’s do it!! We may have to switch up your location a bit, and your outfits will likely have to be altered, but those are minor details in the grand scheme of things.

You can grab some rubber boots (ps colourful ones end up popping in the most beautiful way in overcast situations), some umbrellas, and lets go jump in some puddles! And I can guarantee you, that you YOU are having fun, then the kids will be having fun. And isn’t that what it’s all about at the end of the day!? Embracing the everyday, normal moments. What’s more fun then the time mom and dad let them jump around and getting soaking wet in the rain, while some lady took photos. That lady being me of course.

So yes, we can reschedule you session if its raining. But if you are wanting to creating honest storytelling and sincere family imagery in the rain, then I’m down for that too.
